The AP. has a story about a young girl and her homecoming dance. This 15 year old girl left the dance and was drinking outside when she was attacked. For more than 2 hours she was raped and beaten. She was left half naked by a picnic table, she is still in the hospital recovering.
This should be enough to make you think civilization is ending but it gets worse. More than two dozen people saw this heinous act and did nothing not even calling the police.
The world has always had demented evil people but there was a time where people would have tried to stop this outrage.

Yet people will claim evil doesn't exist. Evil does exist and is at it's most powerful when we deny his existence. Sometimes (as that crowd proved) apathy is the strongest demonstration of evil.
ReplyDeleteAs a father the toughest thing to get a kid to understand is there are real dangers out there. I guarantee you she felt safe. She could handle a few drinks. Her "friends" were there. Her parents are worry warts who don't know whats going on now a days. So on and so forth. Not in anyway saying this is her fault just that none of us understand danger at that age. At this point all we can do is pray for her recovery and that isn't just a physical recovery.
